Kids Can Call Sesame Street Characters For Stay-At-Home Tips

It can be tough to explain to kids why things are different right now. They want to go to the places they're used to going and see the people they're used to seeing...grandparents, friends, teachers, etc.

Sesame Street is here with social distancing PSA messages aimed at children. According to Scary Mommy, Los Angeles NPR station KPCC asked some of the Sesame Street voice actors to get into character and record messages to help parents explain the importance of social distancing to their kids. The station's community engagement team came up with a call-in line so parents could let kids "talk" to the characters on the phone. Just call 626-831-9333 to let your little one hear the messages.
