If you were not aware of this, it has beem confirmed that Ed Sheeran will have a cameo in HBO's Game of Thrones. The Grammy award winning artist spoke to Comic Book and gave them some very specific details. If you are a fan of the TV show you understand that it is a very explicit show. The characters either have sex or die, within the complex plot of the show of course. According to Comic Book this is what Ed Sheeran said about his guest appearance:
“I do know which role I am going to play. I don’t die in it, I don’t die."
The singer went on to reveal a little bit more about his new role. He explains that he won't be on the show long
“I’m only in it for like five minutes.
“I’d probably prefer to have sex than die in the show. I’m sure a lot of people are into that but I’m not.”
Later on, Sheeran said that he has wanted to appear on the show for quite a while. His friend - Snow Patrol's Gary Lightbody - had a guest spot on the show early on, and he's been dying to give it a shot ever since.
"My friend guested in it in 2012 and I remember I was on tour with him and he was like: ‘Right, I’ve got a guest slot on Game Of Thrones.’ I remember saying: ‘You got to get me on it at some point.’
“It’s been five years so it’s finally come true.” - Comic Book
