Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 3 Is Confirmed By The Current Director James Gunn

Guardians of The Galaxy is a major success and we are all anticipating the sequel which is set to be released May 2nd, 2017. The current director James Gunn spoke with uproxx.com, and he confirmed a trilogy in Marvel's Guardians of The Galaxy. According to UPROXX, Gunn stated the following:

There will be a Guardians 3, that’s for sure. We’re trying to figure it out. I’m trying to figure out what I want to do really, that’s all it is. I got to figure out where I want to be, what I want to spend the next three years of my life doing. You know, I’m going to make another big movie; is it the Guardians or something else? I’m just going to figure it out over the next couple of weeks. - James Gunn

In all sincerity, Guardians of The Galaxy is perhaps my favorite movie series of The Marvel comics. I absolutely loved the first part of this now confirmed trilogy. I know part two will be just as good, so lets hope Gunn stays and gives us a great trilogy series. The Guardians will join The Avengers in the Infinity Wars, as we have previously seen Thanos at the end credits of both Marvel Films.
