For many, Fat Tuesday is all about the party, music, and the food. It’s the last day of over indulgence before the season of lent begins. If you’re wondering where to eat today, Houston Press has a few places for you to hit up that are right in your neighborhood.

BB’s Cafe - White Oak

For those of you in The Heights,  this is definitely the party to be at! BB’s is doing their Bands, Beads, and Bugs party tonight! Live music, crawfish and Hurricanes.

Willie’s Grill - for those of you on the Northwest Freeway

Kick off your Fat Tuesday at Willie's Grill at their Beer, Bugs, and Blues event.

Killen’s Steakhouse, if you’re in the Pearland area.

Don’t let the word “steak” in the name fool you, the gumbo at Killen’s is something to not miss!

The Square at Memorial City

Head to Fat Tuesday at The Square for some Mardi Gras revelry from 6 to 8 p.m. Guests can enjoy gumbo by State Fare Kitchen & Bar, as well as live zydeco, beads and New Orleans-flavored cocktails and cold beer.
