Another well-received film at this year's SXSW is Small Town Crime. The film stars John Hawkes as an alcoholic ex-cop who finds the body of young women and is determined to solve the crime, while unknowingly putting his entire family in danger as events start to unfold.
The cast is full of some truly talented actors from John Hawkes, Octavia Spencer, to Anthony Anderson and Clifton Collins Jr and so many more. I have also never met a cast that speaks so highly of its lead actor before the way this one does. John Hawkes has truly left his mark on everyone involved with this project. It should be high on your radar to see and watch. There is no official release date as of yet, but keep an eye out for one soon.
