Easily one of the best-reviewed films at SXSW is the action flick Baby Driver. The film stars Ansel Egort as a young getaway driver, Baby, who seems to be getting in over his head when he agrees to start working for a crime boss and ends up on a job that is bound for failure. The film also stars Jon Hamm, Jamie Foxx, Kevin Spacey, Eiza Gonzalez, and Lily James. The film is written and directed by Edgar Wright (Shawn of The Dead, Hot Fuzz) and it is a crazy music heavy driven film. it is very precisely synced with its own soundtrack and with Baby listening to his music while he drives, we get the pleasure of listening along with him, blocking out the rest of the world. Plus it seems everytime a gun if fired, the shot follows right on along with the beat of the music. It is a very cool film that you should all be excited about seeing when it hits theaters August 11th!
