Dayret Alanis was introduced to Goodwill through the Texas Workforce Commission while seeking employment. Despite consistently landing good jobs through staffing agencies, her criminal background kept her from securing permanent positions. Her past mistakes made it difficult to provide for her family, even though she had the potential and drive to succeed. However, gaining experience at Goodwill Houston and eventually earning a promotion opened her eyes to new possibilities. Through Goodwill Houston, she learned about the Clean Tech Accelerator (CTA) program for HVAC training and decided to take the opportunity to change her life. Dayret approached the course with determination and an eagerness to learn. Known for her exceptional work ethic, she consistently exceeds expectations while maintaining a positive work environment.
