Jay's Weekend In Five Pictures 7/22-7/24

One of my kids got sick, so we ended up staying at home all weekend.

She stayed upstairs the whole time, but we still managed to communicate through FaceTime.

It was a rough go for a couple of days, but she's feeling much better.

Luckily, we had done our grocery shopping earlier in the week.

I found this orange meat watermelon at HEB.

I've eaten plenty of red and yellow watermelon, but I've never seen orange.

Here's what it looks like after I sliced it...

Do you want to know what it tastes like?

It tastes just like...regular watermelon.

I was hoping for some kind of exciting tropical sweetness, but I still ate it.

While I was slicing that watermelon, one of the lights in our kitchen burned out.

I started to change out the bulb and got some unexpected help!

That's our cat, Milo.

He's always getting into things and finding new hiding places.

We wrapped up our weekend by finishing another puzzle.

That's a 1000-piece puzzle from Ravensburger featuring Mickey's birthday party.
