My family and I had a great Fourth of July weekend.
I got to carve out some time to watch the final two episodes of Stranger Things....

I WAS NOT ready for the emotions that would hit me during the season finale.
Season four was truly incredible.
We also got invited to a pool party with all the neighbors.
I brought some yellow watermelon from HEB...

The yellow meat watermelons are supposed to be sweeter than the usual red ones.
When we arrived at the neighbor's house, I put them in the fridge...and totally forgot about them.
We still had a great time though!

There's a whole lot of good people in that one little picture.
I don't normally buy fireworks, but my kids got to have a little bit of firework-action for the Fourth of July.

Because everything's been so dry, I just stuck with sparklers, Pop-Itz and street-level things.
Finally, Julie and I wrapped up the holiday weekend by finishing another puzzle.

That's a 1000-piece puzzle from Jumbo featuring Mickey Mouse, the true original.
This was a fun puzzle to assemble.
I like seeing how the character has changed through the years.
That's all for now.
Thanks for reading.
