The spotlight is about to shine on North America's top singing dogs in the inaugural DogGrammy Award Contest.
Sponsored by Pet Acoustics, a company that makes products designed to help animals deal with stressful environmental sounds, the competition will reward the most talented canine with prizes.
Contestants - or their humans - can post a 30-second video of canine song stylings on Facebook, and a winner will be chosen at noon June 15 in a live event. The top canine crooner gets $250 plus an Ultra Calmer Collar for soothing during thunderstorms and fireworks, a couple of music devices especially for dogs, and more.
