Today is Opening Day for Major League Baseball.
Spring Training is over and now it's time to get hype!
As the 2022 season begins, here's a few things you need to know...in no particular order of importance...
The Astros begin the season on the road.
They'll play their first four games in Anaheim against the Angels, followed by two games against the Diamondbacks in Arizona and three in Seattle against the Mariners.
First pitch tonight is 8:38.
Framber Valdez will be taking the mound for the Astros.

Since Carlos Correa left for the Minnesota Twins, the Astros got a new shortstop.
His name is Jeremy Pena.

He seems to be pretty good for a rookie and I look forward to seeing him this season.
This will be the first time that the Astros have played the Angels on Opening Day.
The Astros have won nine straight Opening Day games!
