Princess Cruises will soon return to Galveston after a six-year hiatus, bringing in its Ruby Princess for sailings to the Caribbean December through April.
The liner, with 900 balconies and cabins for 3,080 guests, will feature voyages of 5 to 11 days, calling at ports in the western Caribbean. There will also be two 16-day trips through the Panama Canal to San Francisco.
Tickets go on sale April 7.

The cruise line requires passengers 5 years or older to show proof of full vaccination plus a negative PCR or antigen test before boarding. Masks are no longer required, however.
Other ships coming to the Port of Galveston include Norwegian Cruise Line's Norwegian Prima in October and the Carnival Jubilee in 2023.
And Royal Caribbean is building a $125 million terminal opening later this year. It will accommodate the massive Allure of the Seas which carries 6,780 guests.
