I need an extra day off to recover from the weekend.

On Saturday, I drove to Baytown to attend the Eastern Rim Funny Book & Vintage Con.
I ran into this awesome Doctor Octopus cosplay!
The convention was really impressive.
There were lots of people dressed as their favorite characters, old & new comic books for sale, toys, games and even special guests.
I'm looking forward to this convention next year.
Once I got home, Julie and I headed to a pool party.
We served drinks in pineapples!
Ever since we returned from Hawaii, we've been craving drinks in pineapples.
I cored the pineapples while Julie mixed the drinks.
They were a big hit!
Sunday was NFL game day, so I went to Kroger to stock up on snacks.
As I walked in, I saw these chips on display.
They're Cool Ranch Dorito flavored Lay's.
What?!
Why wouldn't I just buy Cool Ranch Doritos?
Maybe this is for people who like the cool ranch flavor, but don't like the thickness of a Dorito.
I didn't buy it, but if you've tried it, let me know what you thought.
Once I got back home, I sat on the couch and watched a bunch of football...
I'll admit, I wasn't sure what to expect from the Texans this season, but they played well.
They beat the Jaguars 37-21.
After that, Julie and I continued working on our puzzle.
This is a 2000-piece puzzle featuring all the Pixar movies.
We're usually pretty good at completing puzzles quickly, but this one is kicking our butts.
We've been working on it for a while and I have no idea when we'll finish it.
