Welcome Raquel to the Houston Women Podcast!
Raquel Tanida is a young lady with cerebral palsy who wrote and illustrated a book for children. She wants to spread a wonderful message about compassion for other people and how to support children to do better. Her book is called "The Sun and The Star", such a beautiful and simple story that touches your heart.
Raquel chats with Dana Tyson about how being bullied in school and her cerebral palsy led to her writing a children's book. Raquel is also very intrigued by photography, so she started her own Instagram account to show off her work.
