There was an interesting question that came up during the Texans game.
JJ Watt and Brandon Dunn were sitting on the sideline talking about the eerie silence.
It was so quiet they could hear the blimp overhead....but is it flying or hovering?
This has created quite the online debate in the comments section....
"If we’re getting technical, hovering is not flying. Hovering is remaining in one place, typically in the air. Flying is moving through the air."
"They are both 100% wrong, blimps do not hover or fly, they float"
"Had to google the definition of 'fly' and google say "(of a bird, bat, or insect) move through the air using wings." or "move or be hurled quickly through the air.". Blimps dont have wings and I don't think it's being hurled through the air quickly so I'm going to say it's not flying"
"It is neither flying or hovering. It is floating...it is basically a balloon..."
