Quarterback Deshaun Watson has done some pretty amazing things on the field for the Texans…off the field too!
We’ve talked about him a bunch of times helping out people in need and now he’s done something for all of us!
Lefty’s Cheesesteaks is a restaurant from Michigan that was started by Sam Berry who is left-handed.
Some of his sandwiches are named after left-handed celebrities like The Winfrey (Oprah), The Italian Stallion (Stallone) and The Big Poppa (Biggy).
They caught the attention of Deshaun Watson and long story-short, they are partnering up to bring Lefty's to Houston!
They’ll be opening five locations around town, one of which will be where Freebird’s on Kirby used to be. That’s going to be Deshaun’s store.
He’s also getting a special sandwich named after him.
It’ll be a cheesesteak topped with mac & cheese and hot Cheetos!
That looks awesome!
No word on opening just yet, but we’ll keep you posted.
