Next time you go to your neighborhood Kroger, don't be surprised if you come across some lions.
Lion dancers, that is!

All this month, in partnership with Coca-Cola and SnowFox Sushi, various Kroger stores will be hosting pop-up celebrations for the Lunar New Year.
Sunny 99.1 will be there too!
You may have seen Marc Sherman at Kroger in Cypress and me in Richmond.
We had such a great time and I know the crowds did too.

Yes, some of these lions breathe fire!
The live music is loud and can be heard anywhere you go.
The lions dance to it and even take it to new heights with the platforms pictured above.

You should bring the family and join us as we celebrate the Year of the Rabbit.
The lion dance team will be all around town, but our next few appearances with them will be:
- Sat. January 21 - Kroger (2700 W. Grand Parkway N.) - Katy - Dance Time: 3:30p
- Sat. January 28 - Kroger (24401 Brazos Crossing) - Rosenberg - Dance Time: 10:00a
- Sat. January 28 - Kroger (1886 S. University Blvd.) - Sugar Land - Dance Time: 4:30p

You could even win a Kroger gift card.
And, be on the lookout for someone handing out red envelopes.
Those red envelopes are used to "feed" the lions.
