The big day is finally here!
The grand opening of the new Alief Neighborhood Center is this Saturday and everyone's invited.
Last time I saw it was in this virtual tour video...
That looks pretty cool, but it doesn't show everything.
The 70,000 square foot community center is just the beginning.
Behind it is 38 acres of activities!

This is the first multipurpose center of its kind.
Some of the features are:

- public library
- senior center
- women, infant and children clinic
- classrooms
- production studio
- 3D printer
- state-of-the-art gym
- public pool
- skate park
- soccer fields
- tennis courts
- pickleball courts
- basketball courts
- playground
The grand opening celebration is this Saturday from 11:00-2:00.
There will be plenty of food, music and activities for everyone.
