That Chick-fil-A breakfast menu may be about to get a little bigger. The chicken chain is testing its first new breakfast entrée since rolling out the Hash Brown Scramble Bowl in 2017. Chorizo Cheddar Egg Bites are coming to select markets for a limited test run next week.
Sadly, Houston isn't on the test market list, but it sounds like these will likely be coming our way soon. They'll be available starting August 22 in Augusta, Ga.; Aiken, S.C.; Columbus, Ohio; Norfolk and Portsmouth, Va.; Miami, and New Orleans. Guest feedback in those cities will help decide if Chorizo Cheddar Egg Bites get added to the menu nationwide. Here's the official Chick0fil-A description of the new bite-sized option:
The Chorizo Cheddar Egg Bites are baked in-house every morning and are made with whole eggs, Mexican-style chorizo sausage, and a blend of cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses, offering bold flavors in each bite. Each order includes four egg bites, making them ideal for a meal on-the-go.
