Houston native Simone Biles, one of the most decorated gymnasts in history, recently became the youngest person to ever receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom. President Joe Biden presented her with the honor late last week. According to Yahoo News and Simone's IG story, there was some awkwardness on the flight home from Washington, D.C.
Apparently a flight attendant took a look at the not quite 4'7" Biles, assumed she was a child, and offered her a coloring book. Simone posted in her story that she responded "No I'm good I'm 25."
She was a good sport about the incident, saying that another flight attendant offered her a mimosa, so they were in the clear.
