The 2026 World Cup Is Coming To Houston

Houston is officially a part of the biggest sporting event in the world.

FIFA made the announcement yesterday that H-Town will be a host city for matches during the World Cup.

That is HUGE news!

The World Cup games will span sixteen cities across three countries.

The United States:

  • Houston
  • Atlanta
  • Boston
  • Dallas
  • Kansas City
  • Los Angeles
  • Miami
  • New York/New Jersey
  • Philadelphia
  • San Francisco
  • Seattle

Mexico:

  • Guadalajara
  • Mexico City
  • Monterrey

Canada:

  • Toronto
  • Vancouver

I love it when all eyes are on Houston.

About five or six of the World Cup matches will take place at NRG Stadium.

A massive amount of soccer fans will be coming to town to catch the games.

If you're planning on going to a game, do me a favor and leave the vuvuzela at home.

Looks like I can start wearing my Richmond Greyhounds kit from Ted Lasso again.

We'll learn more about the World Cup in Houston as we get closer to 2026.

In the meantime, you can stay up to date HERE and HERE.
