Julie and I are always looking for new places to eat and we found a really good one!

What makes this place truly stand out is the people.
Texana Cafe provides jobs for neurodiverse individuals, so that means your meal is prepared by employees with autism or intellectual disabilities.
When you walk in, you'll be greeted by a smiling face ready to take your order.

The soft opening is going on now.
During this time, the employees will learn all kinds of skills.
These include things like serving, baking, prep, taking orders, etc...
So, what's on the menu?
All kinds of soups, salads, sandwiches and sweet treats.
Julie ordered the chicken salad sandwich with a cup of soup and I had the turkey.

The food is delicious!
Everyone was really polite and we loved the happy atmosphere.

Texana Cafe is located at 7440 FM 359 South in Fulshear and they're open Monday through Friday from 11:00-2:00.
The grand opening celebration is set for March 10th and it's going to be huge!
