There was a lot going on this weekend...and I missed most of it.
On my way home on Friday, I picked up a new game.
I've waited a long time for Metroid: Dread.
I've always loved the Metroid games.
The original one for the NES is still one of my favorites.
I had too many "home responsibilities", so I wasn't able to play the new one.
On Saturday morning, I made sure to wake up early to attend Ornament Debut at Hallmark!
As you may know, I am a Hallmark Keepsake Ornament collector.
I got some really good ones too.
The Charizard, Knuckles and Sweet Santa are hard to find.
When I got back home, Julie and I finished another puzzle!
That's a 1000-piece Lion King puzzle from Ravensburger.
FUN FACT: I've never actually seen this movie. I've only seen parts of it.
On Sunday, my plan was to watch football.
I wanted to watch the Texans, but channel 11 is still removed from Dish Network.
So, Julie and I started watching season 3 of You on Netflix.
I'm enjoying it so far.
I've liked the previous two seasons, so I'm sure this one will be good too.
Season four is already in the works.
But let me tell you how my weekend ended.
My daughter's been working on a role model assignment for school.
On Sunday night, she sent me a text showing her work in progress....
WHAT!?
I had no idea.
I'm truly honored...but I'm still not going to raise her allowance.
That's all for now.
Thanks for reading.
