When I got home from work on Friday, Julie told me about a wasp hive in one of our vents.
The vent was on the second floor of the house, so I had to use a long pole to knock it down.
Here it is...
How do wasps get each of those holes to look exactly the same?
I guess they measure twice and cut once like professional craftsmen.
My reward for this daring deed was a free meal!
On Saturday, Julie took me out to dinner at The Union Kitchen in Katy.
You'll find this one on Gaston Road (by Kroger and VillaSport).
This was our first time here and it was really good.
Julie had the Lobster Grilled Cheese and I had Sarah's Chicken Avocado sandwich.
Both were really flavorful & delicious.
There was a a green space out front with a live band and kids having fun.
We loved the family atmosphere and we're going to try to go again this weekend.
We ended our night watching Kim Kardashian on SNL.
I've never been a fan of the Kardashian TV shows, nor do I keep up with any of the gossip, but I truly enjoyed Kim on SNL.
She had a good monologue, entertaining sketches and a digital short that I really liked.
Here it is...
You should watch her other sketches like Aladdin, The Dream Guy and The Peoples Kourt.
Those were pretty good too.
On Sunday, Julie and I finished another puzzle...
That's a 1000 piece puzzle from Ravensburger featuring a party for Winnie The Pooh.
Since CBS got removed from Dish Network, I wasn't able to watch the Texans game.
That left me with extra time to puzzle!
Friday night was also premiere night for Legends of the Hidden Temple!
I used to watch this show back in the 90's!
It's been rebooted for adults and it brought back a lot of memories.
I hope you watched it, because you could win $150 if you can answer our Hidden Temple Fact or Fiction question at 7:40 every morning this week.
You can stream it HERE beginning today.
That's all for now.
Thanks for reading.
