NASA Looking For Volunteers To Simulate Living On Mars For A Year

NASA is getting closer to sending astronauts to Mars and they need our help.

They are looking for people who would like to spend a year simulating life on Mars.

You'll be among a crew of four to spend one year inside Mars Dune Alpha.

Mars Dune Alpha is 3-D printed 1700 square foot habitat inside the Johnson Space Center.

Volunteers will be paid and will take part in all kinds of scenarios.

Those scenarios will include things like spacewalks, restricted foods, limited communications, equipment failures and more.

Applications are now being accepted, but there are some requirements.

Some of those requirements are that you must be within the ages of 30-55 and be able to pass the NASA long-duration flight physical.

You can learn more about the simulated Mars mission HERE and apply HERE.
