I tried to get a lot of housework done over the weekend, but I failed miserably.
I had a great time failing though.
As usual, Julie and I completed another puzzle...
That's a 500-piece Little Mermaid puzzle made by Cardinal.
It's one of those Blockbuster movie poster puzzles.
Our kids actually helped us with this one, so that was nice.
On Saturday night we attended a wedding shower for my cousin Joe and his bride-to-be, Lizzy.
The shower was at my dad's house.
Joe and Lizzy had some pretty awesome treats too.

I had no idea a girl like Lizzy was into scruffy-looking Nerf herders like Joe.
The cookies were pretty cool too...
Gotta eat 'em all!
Speaking of sweet treats, I took the family to Howdy Homemade Ice Cream in Katy...
They had lots of cool flavors like Cookie Nom'ster (that Cash is holding in the pic above), Chocolate As All Get Out, Dr. Pepper Chocolate Chip and so many more.
We all really liked it and we'll be stopping by regularly.
