Jay's Weekend In Five Pictures 4/30-5/2

I was not prepared for the weekend to be as wet as it was.

All the rain pretty much kept us inside or very close to home. That gave Julie and I plenty of time to finish another puzzle.

This is a 1000-piece collector's edition Snow White puzzle from Ravensburger.

If it looks familiar, it may be because it's the second in the Disney Princess collector series. We did the Beauty & Beast puzzle a while back. You can see that one HERE.

Ravensburger is our favorite puzzle brand.

Friday night, we made brisket baked potatoes for dinner.

It's one of the meals that our kids get really excited about.

I usually buy the brisket at Buc-ee's and chop it up myself. The Buc-ee's BBQ sauce is one of my personal favorites.

I also like the BBQ sauce from Carl's BBQ and Red River BBQ.

After dinner, my sweet tooth kicked in.

We went to Kroger to get ice creams for everyone, but they were sold out of my favorite Tillamook Rocky Road.

So, I decided to try this Cocoa Pebbles ice cream.

It's chocolate and light ice cream mixed with bits of Cocoa Pebbles cereal.

It's not bad, but not as flavorful as I hoped. The cereal itself is awesome, but I didn't taste enough of it in the ice cream.

In other news, my cats hurt me emotionally this weekend.

They jumped on the shelf and broke one of my comic statues.

This particular statue is about 14 inches tall and pretty old. It's Captain America and it was my favorite of them all.

I'm not sure I'll be able to replace this one.

That left me feeling blue all day.

My wife felt bad and surprised me with this...

A 2000-piece puzzle!

She got it from Barnes & Noble and I'm pretty excited about it.

Thanks for reading.

-Jay
