Anther solid weekend is in the books!
Shortly after I got home on Friday, Julie and I drove to Midway Food Market in Katy. Lately, we've been ordering lunch here twice a week. We both tried the Killer B's Burger and loved it. It has a patty, brisket and bacon in it. I also picked up some marinated fajitas to grill on Saturday night. Those ended up really good too. I've never seen my kids eat so much.
While we were out & about, we stopped by Ace Hardware. My wife needed some seeding trays for her plants. While we were shopping, we noticed a cat napping on some fertilizer. Don't worry, he's a regular. His name is Sparky and he just chills in the store. He's awesome and really friendly.
Of course, I also made time to watch the Cougars play the Bears in the Final Four. The Cougars ended up losing, but they should be proud of themselves. Being among the last four teams still standing in the postseason is quite a feat.
Did you think I forgot about our puzzle? NOPE!
Julie and I completed another one.
This 1000-piece panoramic puzzle from Ravensburger features a bunch of our favorite Disney characters. It's one of the older puzzles in our collection.
Sunday was all about Easter with the family.
Our kids got to hunt for eggs. There were 42 eggs hidden in the backyard, but they only found 36. We have no idea where the remaining eggs are. Luckily, all the eggs with money inside them were found. The kids also had a good time with confetti eggs.
