While so many of us are still recovering from the winter storm, there were a few Houston Texans players going around helping people out!
It all started with Michael Amaro from Superior Plumbing Solutions.
He's a plumber who was getting a bunch of calls from people needing help. Some of them had damage so extensive, that they couldn't pay for the repairs.
That's when Michael called his buddy Chester Pitts...who then called Whitney Mercilus and Justin Reid.
The players donated $30,000 and a bunch of plumbing supplies so that Michael could go help these families!
With this awesome donation, Michael should be able to help anywhere from fifty to seventy families.
