HBO Viewers Wanted Tom & Jerry But Got New Justice League

Some HBO Max subscribers got a sneak peek of Zack Snyder's Justice League thanks to an error.

Yesterday, some users who tried to watch Tom & Jerry were shown the new Justice League instead.

That movie isn't supposed to come out until March 18th.

This guy put a screenshot on Twitter to prove it was real....

His screenshot ended up being removed.

Doug's excitement didn't last long though....

I decided to check out comments from others who saw it and here's a few tidbits of what they said.

Some reported that the Justice League movie only ran the length of the Tom & Jerry movie. So, they only got to watch about one-hour and fifty one minutes out of the four-hour movie.

Some people found a workaround for this. They would start the film towards the end of the run time and it would play the whole way through.

Other comments included:

"I have snippets and jeez some of the cgi definitely was lacking"

"Honestly it is good. It's really interesting to see how different it's told while using alot of the same footage in a different way. I hope people give it a chance. I feel it's worth seeing especially to those who watched the original release."

"The original 2016 scenes are cool but you could very easily tell the recently shot stuff, he didn't have enough time/money to finish the cgi so there are lots of recycled footage from Man of Steel and BvS (all of them are of superman since he wasn't available for additional photography)"

A lot of comments included spoilers that I won't include here.

In a nutshell, comments were more positive than not.

We can all watch it for ourselves on HBO Max beginning March 18th.
