The City of Galveston needs your input!
Back in October, the City of Galveston's Cultural Arts Commission began accepting designs for a new city flag.
The designs had to stay within these guidelines:
- Keep it simple enough that a child can draw it from memory.
- Use meaningful symbolism.
- Limit the number of colors to three.
- No lettering or seals.
- Avoid duplicating other flags.
They got lots of really good submissions and have narrowed it down to ten.
Residents can now choose the one they like best.
Once adopted by City Council, the winning design will be flown at City Hall.

Voting ends February 7th at 11:59pm.
