Fleetwood Mac is back on the charts, thanks to buzz from a viral video that has turned into a TikTok challenge. According to Billboard, the band's 1977 hit "Dreams" just had its biggest streaming week ever with 8.47 million on-demand streams in the United States. And a quick glance at today's Apple Music chart shows the song has made its way back intro the Top 40. "Dreams" is sitting at #38 at the moment.
The video that started all of this featured Nathan Apodaca being pulled on a skateboard, drinking from a bottle of Ocean Spray Cran-Raspberry juice and singing along with Stevie Nicks’ lead vocal on "Dreams". Since Apodaca's video blew up just over a week ago, tons of people have put their own spin on the clip, all set to Fleetwood Mac. Mick Fleetwood himself even joined TikTok to do his own version. A pumpkin-headed fall-themed version has been popular. There's even on that uses an Army helicopter instead of a skateboard.
