Halloween plans are still up-in-the-air for 2020.
Already, many events have been cancelled because of the pandemic.
One company in Japan has found a way to scare people...and they never have to leave the car.
Check out the world's first drive-thru hanted house...
It's called Kowagarasetai and it's been very well received since it opened.
Kenta Iwana got the idea for drive-thru scares when he heard drive-in movies were making a comeback.
This particular haunted house simulates you being stuck in your car during a zombie outbreak.
You'll be given a set of Bluetooth speakers which will play mood music and narration.
Then, you pull into the parking garage, where it is being held, and turn your engine off.
You'll be in complete darkness....but not alone.
In a normal haunted house, you may have an "escape" door when things get too scary.
In this drive-thru haunted house, you'll be stuck in your car for the full 17 minutes!
Don't worry, once it's over they'll wash all the blood off your car.

And yes, it looks like the Houston area will be getting a drive-thru haunted house as well!
