In addition to sunbathers, surfers and beachcombers...robots are now roaming the beaches in Galveston!
They’re called Litter Buggies and they're built by a man named Glenn Morris who wants the beaches to stay clean.
Glenn describes them as “radio-controlled trash cans" and he built them to pick up any trash left behind by litter bugs.
Each one can hold 50 pounds, travel at 4 miles per hour and is saltwater-proof.
People love to see them!
Glenn says he’ll build a Litter Buggy for anyone who wants one.
