Galveston Litter Buggies Are Helping Keep Beaches Clean

In addition to sunbathers, surfers and beachcombers...robots are now roaming the beaches in Galveston!

They’re called Litter Buggies and they're built by a man named Glenn Morris who wants the beaches to stay clean.

Glenn describes them as “radio-controlled trash cans" and he built them to pick up any trash left behind by litter bugs.

Each one can hold 50 pounds, travel at 4 miles per hour and is saltwater-proof.

People love to see them!

Glenn says he’ll build a Litter Buggy for anyone who wants one.

You can learn more about his machines HERE.
