According to the Houston Chronicle, a group of University of Houston students proposed the idea for the shirt, with all proceeds benefiting the Houston Food Bank. The artwork was created by well-known Houston photographer and graphic designer Mike Frost, and local retailer Active Athlete provided funding for the production of the shirts.
