The Astros Will Be Training At U Of H As Well As Minute Maid Park

It's really happening...Major League Baseball is coming back!

This year, the shortened season will be 60 games instead of 162 and will begin in just a few weeks.

Before that, the Astros will need to get back in playing shape with a new round of spring training.

And THAT begins tomorrow July 1st.

In addition to practicing at Minute Maid Park, the Astros will also be training at the University of Houston!

As they maintain proper social distancing, the Astros will be spreading out to Don Sanders Field at Darryl & Lori Schroeder Park.

The move makes a lot of sense since the U of H campus is so close to Minute Maid Park and the Astros will have everything they need like a weight room, club house, agility field, batting cages, bullpens and more.

You can learn more about the U of H facilities HERE.

The regular season begins July 23rd/24th.

GO ASTROS & GO COOGS!
