How awesome is this!
In Sunnyside, Houston, Lionel and Grace Ann Russell received a wonderful surprise car parade celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary from their family, friends, neighbors and even the Houston Fire Department.
Married in 1950, The couple had six children, 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Lionel said, “June 3, 1950, was perhaps the happiest day of my life when I married this woman. “She was a prize.”
So what's their secret to a long happy marriage? They said prayer, faith in God and communicating to one another. “We have problems just like everybody else,” said Grace Ann. “We have problems, but talk your problems out. Because that’s the only way you can do. Communicate.”
