April Murphy is an artist from Houston and her work is all about making you feel good!
She recently started a new project called "Three To Five Words".
She got the idea when she was out for her morning runs. As she would pass other joggers and walkers, she would hear about three to five words of conversation and write them down.
Those snippets of conversation would be the inspiration for some new feel-good art.
And lately, people have been talking about the pandemic...
Some of my favorite pieces include a dog tunneling under a fence with the phrase "will get through this"....a bear hugging a tree with the caption "missing our hugs"...and this bored cat sleeping on a chair with the caption "stay home, work safe"...
I think her art is fantastic.
If you're a runner, you may have recognized her art from the 2020 Chevron Houston Marathon poster that she created!
You can read more about that HERE.
