Jim “Mattress Mack” McIngvale is providing free food to children and seniors in Houston at his store, Gallery Furniture (6006 North Freeway) this week!
They're eligible to a 'grab and go' meal per car which includes breakfast with juice and lunch with milk everyday from 7a-8p.
The Gallery Furniture store is also accepting non-perishable food and toiletry donations there and at the West Grand Parkway location in South Richmond. Items they need include:
Canned goods
peanut butter
chipts
bar soap
gloves
Clorox wipes
baby wipes
toilet paper
soap
(All of which are to be unopened)
Mack will gather his volunteers to deliver these care package items to disabled community members and senior citzens.
