Kobe Bryant tragically died in a helicopter crash on Sunday morning (January 26), and the NBA legend had left a message for fellow basketball superstar LeBron James just hours before his death.
Kobe, who died at the age of 41, congratulated the 35-year-old Los Angeles Lakers star for passing him on the NBA’s all-time scoring list in a message on Saturday night (January 25).
“Continuing to move the game forward @KingJames. Much respect my brother 💪🏾 #33644,” Kobe wrote in his final tweet before his death.
When the Los Angeles Lakers played on Saturday, LeBron wrote “Mamba 4 Life” and “8/24 KB” on his sneakers to show Kobe respect, since he knew he was going to pass him in the all-time scoring list.
