We decided to make some memories this Spring Break, so we drove to San Antonio and spent the day at SeaWorld!
Here are some pics from our trip...
When we arrived at SeaWorld, my kids were in awe of this massive entrance.
Right after we walked in, we were greeted by this staff member holding an eagle. This bird was so cool and ready to take pictures.
Any guesses as to what may live here?
We spent some time at Sea Lion High to watch a show featuring sea lions and an adorable otter. This was really entertaining.
These sea lions are so smart. The did all kinds of tricks and even played with lightsabers!
The kids wanted to play in this gigantic jungle gym in the Bay Of Play. They could spend hours in this!
I was getting the kids ready for the big roller coasters by riding the smaller ones first. Needless to say, made the most of it on the Shamu Express.
After that, we made our way to the Wave Breaker. On this coaster, you board wave runners to rescue animals in distress.
Cash & Anna Rose rode it three times!
We took a break to visit more marine life like penguins & puffins...
...and sharks! The kids loved seeing these dudes up close.
Cute or ugly?
Speaking of sharks, it was time to ride the Great White. I love this roller coaster.
Sophia didn't ride it, but showed me what it would like if she did.
That's me in the back with my wife Julie. She doesn't ever let go of the bar.
We saw these gators on our way to the Shamu Amphitheatre.
The kids were excited to see the orcas! They wanted to sit up close and weren't worried about the splash zone. I marked them with the red arrow.
The orcas were amazing! They did all kinds of tricks.
Hey look, this one's so close!
Yep, they got wet.
At night, the whales jam to a DJ and swim under colored lights....
Here comes one now!
These orcas do everything...flips, dancing, singing and plenty of splashing.
And they jump really high!
There is so much more to do and so many more animals and shows to see. You can check them all out
We had a blast! It was a day well spent and the kids can't stop talking about it. We'll definitely be going back for Summer.
I won some major Dad points this Spring Break.
