2 sticks butter (16 tblspns)
1 teas instant espresso powder or coffee powder
1 tblspoon vanilla extract
4 oz Green and Blacks organic 70% dark choc broken into pieces
4 oz Ghirardelli Intense Dark Chocolate broken into pieces
4 jumbo eggs
1/2 teas salt
1 cup Imperial brown sugar
1 cup Imperial granulated sugar
1 cup all purpose flour 1/2 cup Hershey semi-sweet mini morsels
1. Pre heat oven to 350. grease a 13 by 9 in baking pan with butter and line with foil. In a small bowl, mix espresso powder with the vanilla extract until the powder dissolves.
2. In a double boiler set over barely simmering water, melt the choc pieces and butter together. Remove and cool 5 min 3. In a large bowl, beat the eggs, and whisk in the salt, sugars and vanilla mixture until solids dissolve. Whisk in the choc mixture. Fold in the flour until just combined. Stir in the morsels. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
4. Bake for 35 to 40 min until surface begins to crack..stick in toothpick..should come out clean!
