Over the weekend, the family and I headed to Moody Gardens in Galveston.
Everyone kept telling me what an incredible experience the holidays are at Moody Gardens, so I finally went.
Here are some pics that I took while I was there...
When you pull up to Moody Gardens, you'll see this gigantic Christmas tree. But this is only the tip of the iceberg. There is so much to experience.
As you walk around, you'll see so many cool lit-up displays like these Pandas. My pictures don't do it justice.
These jellyfish are there to greet you as you walk toward the aquarium.
Those jellyfish are joined by their fish buddies.
We found a cool display of SpongeBob and Patrick while walking through the Festival of Lights.
The Festival of Lights is really neat. You'll see displays with cute Christmas animals, Santa's workshop, the story of Jesus, and so many other holiday celebrations.
SANTA! I know him. I know him. You can see one of the many butterflies in the top left.
While we were in line to enter Ice Land, my daughter Sophia got to answer some trivia questions!
Here's my group in front of the Ice Land sign. From left to right, Madi, Nolan, Anna, Sophia and Cash. I didn't take too many pictures inside Ice Land because my hands were so cold. It's 9 degrees inside that tent!
One of the pictures I did take inside Ice Land is this great tribute to the Astros. Remember, everything inside Ice Land is made of ice.
The ice slide was a big hit with my kids. That's Cash coming down right now.
After we left Ice Land, we headed straight for the SpongeBob SubPants Adventure. This was awesome and interactive. Cash got to be an official button-presser!
My pictures don't do it justice. It was amazing!
During our visit, I did a Facebook LIVE video asking the kids what there favorite moments were....
As you can see, there may have been a bit of sensory overload....
