A few months ago, Selena's family had made the announcement that new music from the singer would be released. using archived music recorded but not released it will be Selena singing some of her music as a teenager. A new single titled "Como Te Quiero Yo A Ti" will be released Friday. Thew album will feature 13 tracks all recorded at different points in her life and it will be titled Moonchild Mixes.
New music editing software has allowed the family to capture old recordings and make them new again. It'll be interesting to see if this technology will happen with unreleased music from artists recording at different points in their life. You can expect ballads and cumbias on the new album. So new single comes out on Friday but no word on the when the full album is set to be released.
