Garth Brooks to end three-year tour in Houston

Garth Brooks will wrap up his three-year-long North American tour in Houston on Aug. 6, and he sent a special message to fans here yesterday.

The country music legend's concert will be at NRG Stadium.

Brooks said he decided to launch the stadium tour after playing sold-out shows at RodeoHouston in 2018. So, he said, it's "poetic justice" that he's ending the tour here.

"I'm so proud of this. It's gonna come full circle. Couldn't think of a better place to start it and finish it," Brooks said in the taped message. "I can't wait, Houston."

Tickets for the show go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at Ticketmaster with an eight-ticket limit. They're $98.95 each, all-inclusive.
