Tripadvisor, the travel-guidance website, has announced the 2022 Travelers' Choice Awards for Hotels, and a San Antonio establishment is among those singled out.
Hotel Emma at Pearl is ranked at No. 7 in the Top 10 Hotels in the U.S. The 146-room riverfront hotel on the northern edge of downtown was once a 19th century Pearl Beer brewhouse. At 136 E. Grayson St., the hotel has rooms starting at a bit more than $600 per night.

The best Mountain Resort & Lodge in the U.S. is Rustler Lodge in Utah, at the base of the Alta Ski Resort.
The No. 1 Hotel on the Water in the U.S. is Napili Surf Beach Resort in Lahaina, Hawaii.
Topside Inn in Boothbay Harbor, Maine, is the No. 1 Small Hotel in the U.S. It's a 19th century sea captain's home.
The Sun Viking Lodge in Daytona Beach, Florida is the top U.S. destination for families this year, and the Most Romantic is Kehoe House in Savannah, Ga. It's a beautifully restored 1892 Renaissance Revival mansion.
As for the world's best All-Inclusive Resort, Ikos Aria in Kefalos, Greece, is the standout. Tripadvisor concludes guests there barely have to lift a finger.
