Very important reminder that June 1st is the officical start to hurricane season. It runs through the end of November. Houston as always is part of the gulf that should remain vigilant. If you have supplies already, double check them. If you need to get batteries do so early before lines get long and stores run out. PLan an evacuation route and let family and friends know where you will be headed and staying if not with them.
