Summer is in full swing, and in no particular order, I can't stop thinking about the beach, the newĀ Taylor SwiftĀ album, andĀ SlurpeesĀ (which taste even better withĀ cotton candyĀ on top).Ā Hershey's, however, apparently only has one thing on its mind: the looming return of Halloween.
The iconicĀ candy companyĀ recently previewed itsĀ 2020 Halloween lineĀ with us, and it's going to be a HAPPY one. Since I'm that person (er, freak?!) who likes white chocolate so much better than the real thing, I'm singularly excited for the Cookies 'n' Creme Fangs. If you bite along the lines as you eat, they magically transform into a selfie-ready set of edible teeth.
Today, we caught wind of a new Spooky Shapes Mix from the candy maker, which will included the aforementioned fangs. According toĀ Instagrammer @CandyHunting, it will also come with Hershey's Milk Chocolate Tombstones, Pumpkin-Shaped York Peppermint Patties, Reese's Pumpkins, and White Reese's Ghosts.
"So cute!" one commenter responded. "This is going to be the best time of the year even in 2020, but only because of the candy." I agree! What a time to be alive! Truly!
Among the other treats Hershey's previewed with us that don't come in the Spooky Shapes Mix are: Witch's BrewĀ Kit KatsĀ with a green marshmallow cream similar in profile to white chocolate; Vampire Milk ChocolateĀ KissesĀ with a strawberry creme filling; and Reeseās Franken-Cup Peanut Butter Cups, which have a surprise layer of green creme at the base of each cup.
