First Texas Family Owned Whataburger sold to Chicago-based BDT Capital Partners. Now they are changing the roof on their restaurants!
The new design does not show the iconic "A" shaped roof - it's flat...like Wendy's. They are looking into new markets, starting with new restaurants in Tennessee and Kansas city. Fifteen new restaurants will be built this year and twenty-five restaurants next year, In addition to remodeling many existing restaurants.
Luckily, the orange and white stripes remain, and there's no news yet about changing the logo.
