Silly Walk Zone On Sidewalk Brings Joy To Michigan Neighborhood

People are finding all kinds of creative ways to make their own fun in lockdown. According to Bored Panda, one family in Michigan decided to entertain themselves and their neighbors by asking them to recreate Monty Python's "Ministry of Silly Walks" sketch. The Koto family posted a sign in front of their house that reads:

"You have now entered the jurisdiction of silly walks. Commence silly walking immediately."

Finer print reads:

"Follow @Yorkshire_Silly_Walks for highlights. Your walk may be posted! We’re all in this together so let’s have some fun while we can! (Don’t know how to silly walk? Google Monty Python Ministry of Silly Walks for inspiration.)"

The idea was a huge hit with the neighbors and the Yorkshire Silly Walks Instagram account, collecting highlights captured by the Koto family's doorbell camera, started growing. The neighborhood fun in Grosse Pointe Park has been covered by local and national media. Check out the story from Detroit's WXYZ-TV below.

We've posted a few examples below, but you should really check out Yorkshire Silly Walks on Instagram. They've posted dozens of silly walks and they're updating often.
